Chika Ofor, a well-known singer from Abia state, met a tragic end when he attended a funeral in Amauzukwu, Umuahia. He was supposed to perform at the event, but he never got the chance. According to Igbere TV who posted on Facebook Page, Ofor was poisoned by some of his friends who gave him a plate of noodles laced with a deadly substance. He ate the noodles without suspecting anything and went on stage to introduce himself. However, he soon started vomiting uncontrollably and collapsed.
