You correct bro, my only advice is if it's a man coming here, just have a hand work..like car painter, panel, house painter, mechanic etc..I swear you will make it big..my guy doing mechanic here is making at least 3k dinars that's over 400k in naija ..and here even if you are learning work, you will still be paid..
Dyfynezz12:
Swears, I have a guy who came back from Libya three years ago,He is planning to process papers nd go back to the place legally.
According to him food is very cheap nd their pay is 5times better than Naija.

He is Good at every house work like painting, tilling.

Seriously the guy was making money there but it was pressure from his wife nd his need to see his daughter because the wife was pregnant when he left that made him come back

People complaining about freedom are those that they cant control their social life,.they love to flex up and down.. and if you know you love flexing why leaving your own country??.to me anyone that leave his country do so for a greener pastures..so why can't we focus on the money?. That's why i still love some(not all bcuz we have the unserious ones)serious Ghana people here, you hardly see them chasing woman like our Nigeria people...

God Bless You Bro,Majority of Nigerians are very ungrateful -- some even complain they don't have freedom, I just laugh, maybe they should come back to Nigeria and enjoy their freedom with hungerhuh

In USA a room what you call self contained is $700 per month, you haven't included phone bills, gas and sundries. Most often than not people do more than two jobs to meet up. Think twice before you migrate.
Please return back to Nigeria

The boom of remote jobs has come and gone to be sincere. Zoom has mandated their employees to show up to the offices at least three times a week or get fired and the same goes to Amazon employees. Pandemic related tech boom and busted and only very few tech companies are hiring while majority are downsizing due low sales.
You don't need to quit searching but know it not easy to find remote like it use to be two years ago.
Duly noted!! Thanks

Before you spend N10m to Japa with family, pls make sure there is a sure job waiting for you there. A lot of agents are not sincere.

With N10m, a hardworking Nigerian can make it in 5years here.

The grass isn't always greener on the other side

Don't let peer pressure push you into things you will regret later

I have to be frank with you, you have said nothing in this article.

You neither mentioned whether there are economic opportunities in Libya or it is a safe place.

Libya isn't worth travelling. It is facing a civil war and there are limited opportunities. Also, there is high abuse of black Africans who some see as pest. You need to remember that the Arabs of North Africa (they are actually Arabized Berbers) used to have a booming trade in black and white slaves. That is one reason the French conquered the place to put an end to kidnapping of whites in Europe for transfer to North Africa. They look down on blacks.

Their security forces can also be very mean to blacks. You're denied your fundamental human rights and many face severe beatings and other forms of violence. Females are raped routinely by the sex starved security agents (Women here are expected to be married as virgins). Many of our girls return with biracial or half caste children if you prefer.

For those who say "Any country is better than Nigeria" please go there and taste suffering first hand.

The money you used for travelling can be better expended on business in Nigeria which would yield you better money.
See let us be candid, if you're japaing, know that you'd face harsh environment be it in African, European or any other continent, that's the fact.

This same Libya y'all calling war torn country. I have 3 people there earning an average of ₦100k+ doing menial jobs such as househelp, tiller etc.

Please can an average househelp earn this, in as much as it's not easy, they're hostile people and there are nice people. Just pray for God's favour.

That war torn country is still better than Nigeria. Just pray for God's grace.

Not telling anyone to go to the place illegally, just pray for God's grace

Where in the USA do you get self contained at $700? It must be in the hood. Self contained is $1000 up without utility bills. That $700 can only get you a room in someone’s apartment.

Rent in USA depends on where you reside, $700 bachelor room could be $1500 in Los Angeles or elsewhere, one bedroom in LA is about $2500-3000.
Yes, many have been in USA for over 30-40 without anything to show for, they are not 419 and they started when minimum wage was $3.35 an hour, now you come with a Nurse or IT degree and start making over $100k.

But the environment is conducive to thrive vis the availability of social amenities via constant electricity supplies, good road networks and subsidy on all agricultural products, in Nigeria na OYO you dey. So bro rest I beg.

You should know why people get stuck abroad even when they facing the worst situations.

With the information on internet on how blacks are being treated in Arab countries, I prefer to stay back here in Nigeria than to undergo that inhumane treatment from those evil beings who still involved in slave trade.

I do agree with you that some are doing "well"

Let's be honest,100k isn't anything to write home about.

With the intensity of the civil war now reduced, it seems the economic climate is better. Perhaps, my criticism was a bit harsh.

Nevertheless, I won't advise anyone to go there.

PS

I did watch a documentary of a Nigerian man working in a restaurant and he said he earns enough to send money down to his family back home. His boss spoke highly of him.
