Danm I waited too long. Just lost some money already.
But I'm ok with it. I'll rather see the Naira get better than cry over some small change.
At what rate would you advise I buy? I am not buying to resell. Just as a savings measure. No matter how low it becomes now, in the next 5 years it would still go up. I made the mistake of not buying at N750 and I regretted it.

I've never seen such masochistic madness in my life.
They wish self harm just because they hate their president, they celebrate bad news in the nation
They even went to the extent of killing themselves USING IPOB thinking it will pain Nigeria and the government (buhari and Tinubu) 😆

You borrow money to strengthen the Naira let’s see how long this will last
Give or take one week the dollar is up again, all these are temporary measures to control the fall of the naira , it's not a permanent solution.

Also let the imbẹcile know that their Pablo via the cbn used borrowed money to strengthen its FX backlogs. That the FG borrowed money to by over 400 Land cruisers. borrowed money to renovate uninhabited presidential lodges, borrowed money to re-borrow to students as loans, borrowed money to fraudulently distribute to alleged millions of invincible poor nigerians, borrowed money to buy SUVs for presidential uses and for the unofficial office of the first lady, borrowed money for....

Where are the dollar rate monitoring Obidients? I am not surprised they are not here to celebrate this little gain after all the tears they have been shedding about this issue.
You borrow money to strengthen your currency.

Does that sound like your brain is functioning? It's a sign that your brain is dead

They cry the loudest which is not entirely bad but they are strangely never happy about any good news regarding Nigeria.
They used to open like 50 threads a day to wail about the dropping rate of the naira.
Where are they to spread this good news?
How are you this stupid?

Are you people immune from these mediocrity?

Where do these kind of people actually come from

I don't know how the Universe is going to do it but I think it's high time they Nuke this entire Nigeria to the ground where nobody would survive.

Our politicians are the most wicked corrupt people in the world….The introduction of BVN made the pressure on the dollar rise because politicians were no longer comfortable storing money in the banks or at home so they opted for dollars ….And the demand for dollars by this same politicians is making the dollar rise against the naira

Yet they sell their fake news to their gullible followers that we need to stop buying and importing foreign goods..

How many of these same politicians patronize locally made goods to strengthen the Economyhuh
Price of things will never go down despite naira gaining? That's not govt fault, blame greedy nigs

So what were previous Governments doing to stabilize the naira?
Producing to stabilize it?
Stop scoring own goals

Why did Tinubu float the Naira if he will later start defending it with borrowed funds?

Same thing he did with fuel subsidy only to later re- introduce it through the back door

It is all cluelessness and policy summer sult.

You don't owe those agbadorians any explanations. The approach Tinubu is taking to stabilise the naira is not sustainable.

You cannot continue to borrow to strengthen your currency. You must find legitimate means of making Nigeria's economy attract foreign currency or reduce our overdependence on it.
Where did you see the word "borrow" in the report that you are busy repeating in this thread?

I want to sincerely believe that you have never seen this before. Nigeria doesn't have enough USD to meet its dollar obligations.

I have two things to say:
One, you might not lose much or lose at all in the long run as long as you intend to save it for a long time. But why would anyone be saving for five years? No new investment you can make?
Two, people like you are part of reasons why naira will keep falling in the long run. I always SMH when uninformed Nigerians put the entire blame on the govt forgetting that we have millions of saboteurs among the citizens

When it came down to 1150, I said that I wouldn't be hopeful until it comes down 900. People have different expectations, some people's expectations are not really realistic. May be you are one of them grin grin grin

But now you are ok with 750.
