In a series of posts via her official handle, the Nigeria Labour Congress has continued to berate Imo Governor, Hope Odidika Uzodimma following the assault and brutalisation of her President, Comrade Joe Ajaero.

The NLC said Ajaero who hails from Owerri, was in the State for a protest on behalf of workers been owed, when he was attacked by members of the Police Force allegedly on the instruction of the Governor who is vying to get a second term next week Saturday.

The NLC/TUC have announced a proposed Nationwide strike on Nov 08, if one or all of her demands isn't met, one of which is to transfer and redeploy Imo Police Commissioner, CP Ahmed Barde.

The Governor can petition the DSS to report the individual that posted the defamatory content and sue whoever is behind the handle for cyberbullying and criminal defamation. NLC is not a gutter platform so the implication of the crime is the sole responsibility of the person who posted it and not that of NLC.

I will suggest that he takes that route just like Prof Soludo of Anambra state did when he was cyberbullied and criminally defamed.

As for LP, Labour Party is not helping by resorting to self help and needless resort to violence and intimidation of the Imo State Government.

It is election time in Imo state, every political party and its gubernatorial candidate should be decent, law abiding and campaign on real issues to convince the Imo electorates and let them decide on election day.

If the National Assembly doesn't urgently make a law that will separate NLC from Labour Party, our democracy will be in jeopardy. The NA should immediately make a law that separates NLC from Labour Party. Check my signature for free stuffs!

I am confused,. Is this not the same governor who has been treating the civil servants well?

I learnt security is where he is not performing well. But for roads and salaries he is doing well.

Nigeria Politicians will rather choose violence and oppression instead of addressing the problems.
If not for greediness and corruption, why are workers being owed for months, why do we hear things like pensioners being owed for years.
Why do we have so many bad roads, why they few being commissioned substandard.

These states receives allocations, which handled patriotically and with transparency should solve a lot of problems people complain about.

Not even one up to world standard city can be found in Nigeria. Corruption and Greediness is the order of the day.

What's this? Maybe this childishness is why FG doesn't take NLC serious.. Instead of going on strike to let the governor know that he is not bigger than the people who voted him,they are there writing rubbish..
