I thought we have freedom of worship in Anambra?.
Is there any where in the news where they deprived anyone from worshipping? Or you just want to take this to another level?

A sitting governor being an open religious bigot is a problem.

But a lot of us won't see the problem because it isn't against Islam or Christianity.

This type of government comment will promote shrine burning and other harassment of Traditional worshippers.

It should be condemned totally

I agree with you on this.

Idoalatry is not the cause of this. Criminals are criminals.

Go after the criminals, leave people and their religion alone

He did not go for traditional religion this time (he has in the past) - just throwing the word "idolatry" around. From the article, he's referring to the worship of mammon, not attacking traditional worshippers. Mr Soludo is making progress.

This large scale apostasy we are witnessing in the SE is what is driving the ongoing madness over there.

Cannibalism, human sacrifices and materialism are what is destroying the SE.

Between the west and the east which has the highest rate of ritual killings?....even with the great number of men of God from the land of waste

Did people read the article or just commenting based on the headline. Here is a big example of nigerian problem, not compreheding before replying.
From the article I read He was talking about the church being on "maintenance level" and focus on projects instead of their sole purpose.
Unless I am mistaken, nothng about shrine vs church here.
