All the candidates promised to remove subsidy and in fact the previous administration had removed it by not making any provision for it in the 2023 budget.
Hence regardless of who is in the govt, the country will still be going through some growing pains right now.
The fuel subsidy just had to be removed sooner or later. Just a matter of time.
During Jonathan and other administrations, the country was living beyond her means and now it's time to pay back.
If Obi had won, he would have removed the subsidy too and there's no magic to perform. People will feel the effects.
