At the event, he was asked to comment about the refusal of LP members in the National Assembly to reject the multibillion Naira vehicles procured for all elected NASS members. In response, he said “I have actually discussed this issue with them. Surprisingly, I heard that the vehicles are official cars. They have to use it because these vehicles are meant for official vehicles and it’s not as if it’s their vehicles. If you pay for it, you can take it but they say it’s official cars and everybody is meant to use it while you’re in the Senate”
