FreeStuffsNG:Your disdain for Goodluck Jonathan is so repulsively obvious in the way you castigate his person and blatantly lie about his legacies in government. Yet when it's convenient for Yoruba clowns like you, you covet the Niger Delta region and propagate rhetorics of a brotherhood that doesn't exist. You've been lying about GEJ on nairaland and I'll keep calling you out. He laid the foundation for the railway network that Buhari built on. He even commenced the payments for the rail infrastructure and manpower, and your hate cannot change that. |

Thank you China, our new overlords and masters. Not sure if you will do better than our former slave masters Britain but we are happy to sell out to you all the same. even though it means taking loans that will keep us indebted to you forever. It's the new world order and Nigeria is ready to continue kissing butts in the international community. Welcome to China. China chon chin chon chin chin |

You see, people like Mrvitalis are only interested in partisan and sectarian nonsense. Nowhere in the first post or in my subsequent post was any political party mentioned. The thread is about infrastructure that was built by the Chinese in Nigeria. All he has been yapping about is APC, PDP, QRX. What the hell does that have to do with the thread?? Telling me about people said bla bla bla. |

We already had 55 years of independence before APC with all sorts of academic theories. We have been building people and we have always had trains, roads, water plants, fire setvices etc even before independence. What exactly was built that was not needed? mrvitalis: |

@mrvitalis This is how development works.. You don't build what is not needed. @me So rail transport is not needed? Check the amount of revenue generated by the lagos-Ibadan rail line within few months of commissioning. |

Khyrvxjzy:You don't look at the profitability but overall economic effects. I've said and argued it here before that 99% of trains constructed in the whole world doesn't recover their profit. That's why most time no private entity engage in train construction but it's usually due to government loans and intervention. Train profitability is not looked on the myopic lens of direct profit NO, but on the overall effect on transit efficiency, better bulk movement of goods, crude, gas, steel. Opening up of free trade zones around different districts etc |
