Niger bans cooking gas exports to Nigeria, stop gas pipeline project

Niger bans natural gas exports to Nigeria in order to punish Nigeria for missing payments on its debts.
This is a big deal, as it will have a huge impact on the economy

If they are doing this, it also means they will block the 25 billion dollar gas pipeline Nigeria is building to reach Europe through Niger, Algeria etc.

I think Tinubu may just revive those war plans..

But diplomacy should prevail.

most of our Gas in Nigeria is being produced in the coastal SS regions. How easy or cheap is it go get it to border towns in Northern Nigeria vs importation from Niger. Sometimes you guys need to learn about international Trade. Canada where i dey has huge oil deposits in the western part of the country ( landlocked) but it still imports oil from saudi for its refineries in the east coast that have access to the ocean as it’s cheaper.

Propaganga from their brothers in Northern Nigeria,with such huge gas deposits they waited for PMB to link them with railway from kano at the expense of the Niger delta.
