People will vote for their candidates then the courts will use technicalities to give victory to the losers, this cuts across various parties and not about PDP or APC

Enough is enough
The judgment is a clear conspiracy, how do you claim it s a pre election case is some and look the other way in some other cases, the judiciary should not cause problems.

Paid protesters. If they are not in agreement with the decision of the court of appeal, they should go to the Supreme Court.

Protests induced by illiteracy. I am very sure none of the protesters understand why their preferred candidate was removed by the court.

This is the result and legacy of the Supreme court ruling that made Uzodinma Governor of IMO State. Now our politicians know that even if you came last in an election you can always go to the APC compromised Judiciary to snatch the people's Mandate.

I dont have a problem with the protest. Why can't they protest against the killer herdsmen ?
Why protest over politicians? Are the children of politicians among them?

Re: Plateau: Heavy Protests following Appeal Court's Sack Of 4 NASS Members by Cantonese: 3:27pm On Nov 08, 2023
First it must be the National Assembly. They make laws with plenty of loopholes. Politicians take advantage of the loopholes, enabling tribunals and courts to pronounce anti people judgements. Water tight laws must be made, so that lawyers cannot manipulate.

One wonders how in an election, the winner scores 100,000 while the second scores 40,000. The courts invalidate the victory on account of certificates. That definitely will someday lead to anarchy in the land.

Unfortunately we have a National Assembly wit members who only look out for themselves.

INEC contributes it own with officials collecting bribes to subvert the will of the people.

The tribunals finally pretend to be honorable, whereas there are accusations of bribe taking against them.

Now to the victorious from the courts, how can they truly claim to represent the people of those areas, when majority of the votes cast were not in their favour?

Our country is in deep corruption mess with the politicians.

there is no law guarding election in this country. When supreme court will tell you that IREV that we spent 350billion naira is of no use. That it is not compulsory to transmit results from the polling unit, that INEC can decide to change the rules of the game even after the voting has started. Then you should know that we don't have any law guiding election. INEC is the alpha and Omega whoever INEC said he win then it stands.
