Nigeria is a sad archetype of what a country should never be. How can a country whose electoral laws was amended only just a few months ago still grapple with this level of electoral rot and malfeasance? How come these issues were not anticipated and provided for in the amendment? How many amendments to the Electoral Act do we need to have an election process that doesn't plaster shame on the face of every Nigerian during elections?
