Workers Strike: TCN Denies Report On National Blackout

As public workers embark on a nationwide indefinite strike action on Tuesday, the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has denied a report by an online newspaper (not LEADERSHIP), of an imminent national blackout.

TCN, in a statement signed by its Management, a copy of which was obtained by LEADERSHIP, said the nation’s power grid was intact and supplying bulk electricity to distribution load centers nationwide.

“The Transmission Company of Nigeria hereby states that the publication by Daily Post alleging that the Head of Public Affairs of TCN said that there will be a national blackout is false and totally misleading.

“The statement is mischievous and baseless as TCN, through the Public Affairs Head, did not make such statement.

“We hereby note that the nation’s grid is intact and supplying bulk electricity to distribution load centers nationwide.

“As at when issuing this statement, the TCN National Control Centre Osogbo which controls bulk power transmission nationwide, is actively operational.

“We would appreciate that reports are made with a sense of responsibility not just to cause panic,” TCN stated.

Discos should come out and tell Nigerians their own side. No switch must be turned off because of labour disobedience.

Guys I need clarity on this. Now I want to teach the African people how to be talented / creative and innovative.

But I have one concern - competition. If I do this, wouldn't the competition be so stiff (cos I'll be teaching what makes me unique) ?

But I'm so concerned about how Africa is. I want to effect a change with my gift and this gift is one that can't be beaten.

Of natural strength Africa has it, now imagine being innovative like the whites then it's game over for those that hold us down.

They'd want to even bring you to the table cos you have what they need.

So this is the foundation of this light to help.

But I'm concerned about the competition.

Just like a business man can't teach you the real business substance that has made him what he is - he'll only brush the surface.

But that wouldn't yield much result just as it is in our churches where pastor's never teach the members the real thing that'll make them powerful as them (hence there is a perpetually weak congregation that always need their pastor to make things happen )

But if I let this secret out, even in the face of competition the honor will be due me just like Napoleon hill is being honored for that single book Think and Grow Rich as it has made millions of millionaires.

Of which he could have decided to keep that secret to himself and be extraordinarily wealth.

What is the way ?

I think the excesses of NLC should be cautioned

Where two elephants fight, the grass they choose to protect suffers.

. Your success is measured through the number of successful people made by you.
Leave the African mindset. Mind you, a master will still be a master

If TCN is not on strike why don't we have light since morning for our side. Adelabu should take action on this people and sack both Disco and Genco MDs. In fact in a sane country how can light be put out for 72 hours even more. PHCN people are not doing well at all. The minister should do the needful.
