You are doing POD, but they will first pay dispatch, Isn't the same dispatch coming to make the delivery

Have bought from Annourangel b4 and I paid b4 getting the shoes so in her case she doesn't do POD and I know payment Validate order. But someone that claims he does POD wants dispatch money upfront 😕 make it make sense.
