"This procedure was not limited to Nigerian citizens only, but rather to citizens of other countries."

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia clarified media reports about the deportation of 264 Nigerians upon entry into the Kingdom, stating that it was not targeting Nigerians.

On Monday, The Saudi Arabian government cancelled the visa of all the 264 passengers airlifted by Nigeria’s major carrier, Air Peace, on arrival at the country from Kano, insisting that they be returned to Nigeria.

However, in a statement released on Wednesday, the Saudis Embassy said, “The passengers who were denied entry, and subsequently deported to their initial destinations, didn’t fulfil the entry conditions and requirements in accordance with the applicable rules and regulations of the Kingdom, as they submitted incorrect information to obtain a category of visa that doesn’t apply to them, which was discovered upon their arrival.”

“This procedure was not limited to Nigerian citizens only, but rather to citizens of other countries.”

Similarly, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a statement made available to Channels Television on Tuesday, said it was “investigating the matter to see if any consular or aviation rules have been flouted.”

Special Adviser on Media and Communications Strategy to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, said the ministry will ensure such actions that impact the welfare of Nigerian citizens are mitigated in the future in line with what was described as the Four Ds strategy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The Royal Saudi Embassy also issued cautionary measures for applicants wishing to visit the Arabian Peninsula.

“The Royal Embassy would like to stress the importance of following the procedures and laws enacted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for all visitors,” it also read.

“Furthermore, all passengers should review all the documents to determine their conformity with the conditions before departing from their countries to the Kingdom.”

Islamic Taqiyya. believe at your own risk.
The Saudis realised their blunder and embarrassment caused to President Tinubu who was still in their country when this event happened listening to empty promises being churned out for gullible Nigerians consumption.

Have you ever seen any Muslim country agree to take refugees from another Muslim country in crisis or war, no they will rather ask them to seek refuge in Infidel countries, then after one year of accommodating and providing them with safety they will start asking for your schools to change their uniform to make provision for Hijab, then your shops should add Halal to products displayed on shelf to show that the chicken was slaughtered according to Islamic injunction and then they want Sharia law which caused crisis in their home country

And the embassy couldn't detect this before granting them visas. So every single person that submitted incorrect information just managed to find themselves on the same flight. This is looking like when someone goofs and they're trying to push the blame on anybody but themselves.

But 9ja muslims carry Islam for head. They will see the boycott as an attack on their religion.

Una just dey allow these countries dey use una heads. Let no Nigeria go for hajj for the next 5 years.

Story for the gods!

So can they explain why they initially wanted to send the entire plane intact back to Nigeria? Or was it that the Saudi immigration officials weren’t wearing their eyeglasses the first time they inspected the travel documents!?

Kano to Cairo, come see small girls the parents paid agents to ship them to Egypt without knowing anyone there. I queried a girl below 20 while on the plane cus she was sitting close to me, she said it was her mum that paid the agent, the agent gave them $100 to share amongst themselves (they were 4) and asked me if she had to cut the note into 4 lol...that was when I concluded these young girls were being trafficked in the name of house girls.

They paid for visa on arrival, we parted in the Cairo airport...who knows the bed services they are giving there. This our government no de try at all. You can't be checked into the plane if you don't mention na UK you de go straight, if you say na stopover...them go ask you to call your agent. Kano airport is the most porous airport! If you wan travel with enough foodstuff with palmoil, use Kano to Heathrow!!!

Tell your country people to stay away from crime.
