President (Asiwaju) is very qualified to become president of Nigeria
What qualifications did Mr Yar Adua and Mr Jonathan have before they became president apart from being governors of Katsina and Bayelsa
One may argue that they were Ph.D holders but I sincerely believe Asiwaju's experience of working in one of the Biggest Oil companies is also good enough

Chief Executive Officer of Financial Derivatives Company Limited, Mr. Bismarck Rewane, has advised President Bola Tinubu “to ramp up the skills in understanding federal and national economic dynamics” because experience garnered at state government’s level is not enough to run a federal government.

Prime Business Africa reports that Tinubu is a two-term former governor of Lagos State which he superintended over from 1999 to 2007. He had also served as a senator in the aborted Third Republic. Tinubu was sworn in as Nigeria’s 16th President on May 29, 2023, and has since constituted his government.

Presenting a paper yesterday at the November edition of the Lagos Business School Breakfast Session titled “Policy Direction Misaligned with Economic Destination”, Rewane observed that Tinubu’s “management team is vast and experienced in subnational economic policies” and warned that, “transplanting a state team to run a federal structure has serious limitations.”

FG, states using Tinubu’s economic policies, says Adeosun

The Federal Government said yesterday that its economic recovery template was adopted from a former governor of Lagos State and national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, who spoke during the ninth annual Bola Tinubu Colloquium to mark his 65th birthday in Lagos, noted that the tax mobilisation formula and other policies the APC chieftain deployed as governor were what the Federal Government had adopted in its efforts to revamp the national economy.

Former Enron executive Dan Boyle was sentenced to nearly four years in prison Thursday, while Robert Furst and William Fuhs, both former Merrill Lynch bankers, received more than three years — all for their roles in the Enron Nigerian barge scam.

Boyle, sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison and fined $320,000, was the only one who appeared repentant about pushing through a sham sale of energy-generating barges to the bank so Enron could pump its earnings and bolster its stock price.

"I'm the only one responsible for my actions and omissions and for the pain I caused each and every person I affected," the Clear Lake resident told the judge. "I'm truly sorry."
