People can somebody give details on the registration and fees for the NECO 2024 exam.

Where are you chatting from?

NECO external means NECO GCE, it is written in November December

Or do you mean you want to know about NECO SSCE 2024, written in May June as external candidate?

Registration for NECO GCE has ended, the exam starts soon

For NECO SSCE that will be written in May June next year, the registration is on, and as External candidate, it will cost you 90,000 Naira

The money you quoted is far more than what is on NECO website. Why the diff?

NECO GCE is registered with NECO
You can buy a scratch card and register yourself in a cafe

But NECO SSCE is registered through schools,it's an internal exam
Apart from NECO charges, the school will charge for other fees as you are not even their student, they will have to prepare credentials to make you a regular student...
