You just want to exercise your fingers by typing this post, we are talking about Nigeria not South Africa, I’ve seen things more than you do, If you’re familiar with Benin city go ask about Hitech construction company i and my other colleagues fought for workers welfare as the previous corrupt union refused to talk simply because they were benefiting from the company we came they told us 6 months probation then staff behold I saw people working as casual in one year nobody couldn’t talk, until we mobilized shutdown the company activities for one week we protested to governments house and write to state NLC and then dissolve previous union set up care taker committee and make sure the company agreed to staff already due workers, as we were doing this things I get to understand a lots of things why the previous union refused to pilot the workers affairs the same workers you’re fighting for will be the ones leaking every meetings we hold to the company management and write the names of those involved, we face betrayal some of those who we removed as Union members even results to using juju to fight us, why others castigated us to be the black sheep of the company, long story cut short we actually succeeded in the quest for having our co workers getting staffed but not everyone make the list, if you start a fight of changing this country that’s when you will realize that 80% of Nigerians are loyal to bad government because that they will sabotage your efforts, look at Endsars for instance it was still the same youth the government sent to sabotage the efforts, Military and police are also affected by bad government but when you start holding your ground to make sure your voice is heard they are still same people that will be deployed to kill you on a nutshell Nigeria is not a country where you can sacrifice yourself others will sabotage your efforts, Mandela fought to liberate South Africans go there today and see how others who came into office now squander resources even Ghana that Rawlings sanitized are now heavily into corruption in govt.. we blacks are too corrupt

I did all this and find reasons not to remain in Nigeria because when you talk about rights and standing up for the rights of others you will be heavily criticized and even get killed, I remember how Endsars protest started in Benin some people even call themselves too righteous to take part because it was a yahoo boy thing, infact everyone who protested against police brutality in Nigeria back then were tagged yahoo boys, forgotten that is not only yahoo boys that are being targeted by police, it’s only in Nigeria you will be protesting for fuel reductions that affects everyone then you will see the same people being used by government to stage a counter protest against what you are fighting for, on a long run those taking part in counter protests are also being affected and stand to benefit from the reduction, na God go help us

If he has given out the information anonymously, the practice might be investigated by the higher authority or syndicates stop doing it completely.
Wisdom is profitable.

^^^

It will not be investigated.

Like I said, the official response will be complete silence or..."we cannot respond to hearsay or rumour". And you think the 'syndicates' will stop because of an anonymous tip? You can see how the man (if this whole story is true) is being victimized for standing up for the truth...and you think an anonymous letter would have had an impact? undecided

There's a simple rule for us to all live by: If we are not bold enough to oppose wrongdoing ourselves, then we should never attack the resolve of those who are bold enough to do what we are too afraid to do. There are many things I don't have the heart to do and that's why I would never criticize a man (or woman) bold enough to challenge evil. It makes no sense.

There is something really bad happening to Nigerian men. It is crazy that we are becoming more and more critical of the few people who are actually bold enough to do what we are too afraid to do. This is the same way people criticized the woman in Edo who was killed by thugs during the state and presidential elections earlier this year. A woman was bold enough to challenge thugs at her polling unit and she paid for it with her life. Instead of a sober recognition of the great sacrifice this woman had made so that the children of her critics would be able to live on their feet (instead of their knees)...so called 'men' on this platform were calling her awful names. Some even had the guts to criticize her for coming out to vote. undecided

We have to choose the kind of society we want and stand by that choice. Not this half in, half out business.

We have to play the long game.

There's no room for tiredness. It is a lifelong struggle.

There will always be betrayal - even by those who will benefit from the struggles of others. But like I said, virtue is its own reward.

This is why some of us do not let lies or propaganda go unchallenged on this platform. We will fight it on the street and online...anywhere we see it.

Of course, Nigerians are peculiar people - they often turn against those who are fighting to liberate them...this sort of ingratitude doesn't make any sense to reasonable people. But the struggle must continue.

The struggle must continue.

He already explained that. Use your brain now, how would someone that exposed job racketeering be receiving bribes? It is witch hunt, and he has witnesses already.

lol. He will be out of job soon next time he will understand to focus on his job description.
No, he can't. Those who recommended his sack and who were to sack him have met resistance and they're now hesitating to go ahead with it because they know it can backfire!

Go to Martins and support him as he faces PMB after PMB, query after query for leaking Official State Secret. Which is a gross misconduct. Ask any civil servant.
Once he's fired,Make sure you donate half of your income to his upkeep.

Gosh.

Sad but true.
The entire system is corrupt it'll take more than one man being patriotic. Things like this have happened many times in the past with terrible consequences to the intending patroit...even Dele Giwa was blown to bits for being patriotic.
It's a very sad reality.

To be honest, some of u Nigerians are not worth fighting for. You naively don't understand the consequences of ur affiliation to corruption for ur stomach.

This kind of racketeering is one of the main reasons lots of qualified youths would spend years after graduating without jobs despite having the necessary qualifications or passion for it.

Indiredt expose. You don't have to expose some frauds directly by messing up your life. Wisdom is profitable. Bible says all things are lawful but not all things are advantageous.

What is indirect expose in this case? It only got this much attention and investigation because a data entry officer whose duty it was, called it out, otherwise it would be dismissed as hearsay or propaganda..

Appreciate people that have put everything on line to better the system, we all know you can't by your words, but why ridicule who has.. it does not affect your income or your person, why the ridicule?

I support you on this 👍

The history of the great US tells us that if not for some people like Martin Luther King, who stood up against the odds in those days, US was already going to the dogs.

So US, UK, China, once passed through what we are currently passing through now.

But mind you, Martin Luther King was not fighting for himself like Ajaero. Benjamin Franklin or Abraham Lincoln was not disrespecting and diminishing the country like Obi Onwubuasi is doing,
grand standing and granting press statement every second. Obama, when he was senator, was not running amuck like Dino Melaye. Amanpour of CNN was not destroying US in the committee of nations like the refugee David Hundeyin of LP was doing using his gullible fans to become popular.

They were patriots looking for a sincere change, not for their cronies (like Obi Onwubuasi's or Atiku Sidiq's followers want) to come to power; but a sincere behavioral and moral change in the system.

So the guy Martins here in the ministry of works is an Hero in this matter (I hope he does not also have skeleton 🦴 in his own cupboard)
