Bigchristo: You story isn’t special. This is what happens in every struggle. It’s only those who rise beyond challenges that succeed. There are black people who supported apartheid in South Africa, there are blacks who assisted whites to enslave fellow blacks in America. But this didn’t deter Mandela or Luther from triumph. If u feel you are too weak to fight on, don’t join hands to castigate someone else that is trying in his own corner. |

vikstandon: So y'all I'm a fool for spitting out the sad reality of the country we live in? You think Nigeria can be fixed by the actions of a few "patriotic" citizens? You-all rush to condemn my words as foolish yet y'all live in this cesspool called a country.. Has your patriotism lifted us out? How about your sense of duty? Go to NIS and lecture them on that.. While at it. Head over to the Customs and say a word or two.. perhaps the NPF? The country is irremediable broken, only a dreamer would think otherwise. What's so patriotic about Martin"s action? Would that stop the next batch of fake appointments not to roll out? Like I said earlier, once he's fired y'all start a GoFundMe account for him and his family.. For his patriotism.. Patriotic to a country that doesn't give two bleeps about u Idiots |

If that is not his job description then that is over stepping his boundaries and also leaking information to the press for whatever reasons is totally unacceptable. 2mercy: I feel the pain of Mr Richard Oghenerhoro Martins. It is so unfortunate. The lesson from his story is that once you swear an oath of secrecy as a civil servant, you have to abide by your oath. You can only expose racketeering after your resignation/retirement or without disclosing your identity inorder to avoid witch-hunting |

loswhite: Why should we concern ourselves with his motives? That's petty and irrelevant. I will like to know his job description? Is his job description verifying letters? If that is not his job description then that is over stepping his boundaries That means someone wasn't doing his job the right way and also leaking information to the press for whatever reasons is totally unacceptable. What did he leak to the press? Definitely, not the racketeering stuff but his victimisation. You wanted him to die in silence? If I was his boss he will be sacked ... No be who first call police dey win caseYou still don't get it, his bosses are powerless now. They couldn't sack him because his case is now at NA. That's why they are moving him around. And I'm sure, that also will stop. |

allthingsgood: Oga keep quiet and be used to the system. Martins isn't any hero in the story. He will eventually lose his job for trying to be "partriotic" while those corrupt officials fighting him will continue to feed fat and their children enjoy the good things of life. People who are good in Nigeria end up being used, defamed and debased while criminals are empowered, emboldened and given the spotlight in all spheres and sectors of Nigeria. 2015, 2019 and 2023 never open your eyes?? |
