My brain tells me that if the fuel is being imported and Naira has lost a lot of value to the dollar (1$ to #1000+), and fuel is being sold at #620-700 per liter. How's that possible without subsidy.

It looks like a simple theft we were just too ignorant to see. He banned importers of certain items from getting forex directly from CBN, meaning they had to get it from the parallel market. If I know you have no other options, I can easily charge you more. I know there are other factors though.



Not to forget that he brokered deals to give some people like dangote forex slightly below official rate, meaning he could have done other things to reverse our forex challenges, even of they were to fail.



Emefiele and his cabal really pulled this one off and would be filthy rich billionaires forever.

The question is how can this be achieved without further pressure on the citizens? We hear of more taxation added to the forex problem.
