I have never seen intellectual dishonesty like this before. When he saw that “Benin Found Lagos” he spit was all jargons, he try to do damage control by saying “Maybe some part of Lagos”.

He can authoritatively say Benin found Lagos, but he had to put “Maybe” some part of Lagos later.

He's right and I've always maintained Bini are the real owner of Lagos but Yorubas occupied it due to Lagos boundaries with Epe, and other part of Ogun state. I like Bini people they don't like to make mouth.

This has been settled by the Oba of Lagos even long before he was crowned the Oba of Benin yet he is misquoting the same Oba of Lagos who has openly declared that he never said so. Only God knows why they keep doing this. Smh.

He is just trying to create unnecessary debate. They tried it with Ile-Ife and lost when facts prove that heads of past Oba of Benin were buried in Orun Oba Ado in Ile-Ife, it's now Lagos. Smh. They have lost the plot again.

They were the ones who said they don't leave palace yet historical pictures show and prove that it's not true,today same Oba is in Lagos receiving tutorial on Yoruba history. They are the ones who keep revising their own history while the facts have never changed to prove them wrong. That's the problem with lying, you say 1 lie and you will need more lies to cover your lie.

The Yoruba in the past always see Edo as part of them but it is more like the Yoruba don't even care any more. Nobody is interested in proving anything any more. It's not worth it any more in the face of the reality in Nigeria now. If you are not Hausa, Yoruba or Fulani, you are not part of the super majority tribes that can determine who becomes Nigeria's democratically elected President. The Yoruba will rather form alliance with either the Hausa or Fulani or both like the Yoruba did in the previous elections.
