In the wake of a terrorist attack, you may naturally ask yourself: ‘Does God care? Why do these things happen? Will terrorism a ever end? How can I live with the fear I feel?’ The Bible provides satisfying answers to these questions.

How does God feel about terrorism?
God hates violence and terrorism. (Psalm 11:5; Proverbs 6:16, 17) And Jesus, God’s representative, rebuked his disciples when they resorted to violence. (Matthew 26:50-52) Although some claim to commit violent attacks in God’s name, he does not authorize their actions. In fact, he does not even listen to their prayers.—Isaiah 1:15.

God cares about all those who suffer, including those affected by terrorist attacks. (Psalm 31:7; 1 Peter 5:7) The Bible also indicates that God will act to bring an end to violence.—Isaiah 60:18.

The root cause of terrorism
The Bible reveals the underlying reason for terrorism: “Man has dominated man to his harm.” (Ecclesiastes 8:9) Throughout history, people with power have used terror tactics to oppress others. In response to oppression, others have used terrorism to fight back.—Ecclesiastes 7:7.

The end of terrorism
God promises to eliminate fear and violence and to establish peace on earth. (Isaiah 32:18; Micah 4:3, 4) He will:

1. Remove the root cause of terrorism
God will replace human domination with his worldwide government. The Ruler of this government, Jesus Christ, will treat everyone fairly, and he will eliminate oppression and violence. (Psalm 72:2, 14) At that time, no one will resort to terrorism. People “will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.”—Psalm 37:10, 11.

2. Undo all the effects of terrorism
God will heal people of the effects of terrorism, whether physical harm or emotional trauma. (Isaiah 65:17; Revelation 21:3, 4) He even promises to resurrect the dead, bringing them back to life on a peaceful earth.—John 5:28, 29.

The Bible offers us good reasons to believe that God will act soon. However, you may wonder, ‘Why hasn’t God ended terrorism already?’

Right but God can only do for men what men can't do for themselves.

OPICANTO2223:

Right but God can only do for men what men can't do for themselves.

With a sign you will see God's hand doing the needful.

For instance when God wanted to wipe out all life on dry land He asked Noah to build an Ark and he did just so but:
How will birds enter the Ark in pairs?
How will predators and preys among wild animals live together inside the Ark without killing one another?
What will the carnivores inside the Ark be eating inside the Ark since Noah only gathered straws?

All these are impossible for Noah but he played his own part by building the Ark and leaving the impossible for God to do.

God promised that during our own time He will release His spirit and people from different geographical locations on this planet will form one big and happy family of peace loving worshipers, they will settle all their disparities peacefully among themselves, divert their resources into production of food and information materials, erased the making buying selling and usage of weapons and vow never to raise weapons against anyone again! Isaiah 2:2-4; Micah 4:1-3

Of course this is impossible because people don't think alike and racial differences will not let such a thing work but do you know that Jehovah's Witnesses are fulfilling that today?
The only thing we are expecting from God now is to help us wipe out all killers from the surface of the earth so that we can have peace globally! Revelations 11:18

Terrorism will still continue in Islamic Al - Jannah. Wherever there are women and sex, greed and ego will always play out. Antichristian will be eyeing lukuluku99 or legalwolf women to add to his own 72 houris.

There is going to be riots in their sexlam's paradise.
MaximumSide has escaped that one here from the earth. He has become a member of the GB kingdom of delusion.

Do you want him to be a terrorist?

Sorry, but I do not accept that human beings must wait for some Jehovah to come down from heaven to make we humans not terrorise one another because that is far too irresponsible of human beings in my own opinion.

Personally, I like the teaching of Christ that the terrorised should turn the other cheek, but I also see the folly of the terroriser repeatedly terrorising. And, such issues are complex since the terroriser might claim to being terrorised out of his home.

We terrorise each other here on Nairaland, and since we don't all do Jehovah, perhaps we might all want to consider evolving.

No. I will not wait. I will, myself, henceforth not ever terrorise nor be terrorised.

That should at least reduce terror here in the religious section of Nairaland until Jehovah acts in its right time.

The way Christians are able to manage cognitive dissonance needs to be studied. What do you call it, when a group of people march into a land flowing with Milk and honey, pillage the land, murder its inhabitants, and claim that land for themselves. Mind you, they did all this while shouting to "Allah Ahkbar. " 😂😂😂
The irony!

I have issues with the following:

We also know he was the one who wrote the 'Gospel'.

It is my opinion that the various stories in the 'gospels' were verbally narrated amongst a small group of people then later complied into what we have today and we're not written by anyone person.

"An eyewitness has testified, and his testimony is true; he knows* that he is speaking the truth, so that you also may [come to] believe", does not work on non-believing buda.

The 'gospel' there is is the Anglo-Saxon translation of the Greek word "Euangelion." The Greek term was employed to interpret the Aramaic "awon-Galee-Yoon," which conveys the meaning of "He reveals."

There might have been a Jesus, in the gospel story, someone was released in place of Jesus. This person name is Barnabas, which means son of the father, his other name is Jesus.
That's, Jesus Barnabas.
The Pharisees nailed Jesus with 2 offenses but only one sticked.
They called him king of Jews which means Christ.
And Barnabas, Son of the Father.
The Jews killed Christ but saved Barnabas. It's a wordplay by the gospel authors
