How Nigerian Police Made Me Withdraw N1.5M Victim Recounts Ordeal, Got Justice by thisweekng(op): 11:23am On Dec 01, 2023
In a shocking incident that unfolded on the night of November 25, 2023, a Nigerian citizen, returning from a friend’s introduction ceremony, found himself at the mercy of the police along Igbogbo Road in Lagos. The victim, who wishes to remain anonymous, detailed a disturbing encounter with the police that involved harassment, false accusations, and a substantial financial loss.

According to the victim, after being stopped and searched, the situation escalated when the police noticed a tattoo on his friend’s body. Allegedly without any basis, the officers labeled them as cultists. The victim recounted being slapped and forced to sit in the back seat of his car while two police officers joined him. The friend was reportedly thrown into the police bus, and the officers proceeded to drive them towards Ogolonto.

The ordeal continued as the victims were taken to Way Bridge along Mile 12 from Ebute Ikorodu. At this point, the police allegedly threatened to shoot the victim, physically assaulted him, and handcuffed him. In a shocking turn of events, the officer in possession of the victim’s phone reportedly unlocked it using Face ID and proceeded to access banking apps.

The assailants forced the victim to withdraw 1.5 million Naira from PiggyVest to his FCMB account. Despite network issues causing initial difficulties, multiple attempts were made to transfer the funds to another account. Ultimately, 390,000 Naira was withdrawn through various transactions to MoneyPoint account number 8274433925, belonging to “Mummy T Ventures.”

Fortunately, the assailants were unable to complete the entire withdrawal as network issues prevented the victim from receiving the necessary OTP for a 1 million Naira transfer. The traumatized victim expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Police Headquarters and the Ipakodo Police for their assistance in recovering the stolen funds.

Acknowledging the efforts of @BenHundeyin, the victim credited him for playing a significant role in bringing the perpetrators to justice. The victim, who initially feared the loss of crucial funds intended for rent, is now relieved to have reclaimed the stolen money, highlighting the importance of accountability and justice in such cases.

Idiots! But if they see Davido and Wizkid with tattoo, they will ass lick them instead.

Very wise of the driver, play along with them, then seek justice. Always have a camera in your car, in case they take you to POS to do the withdrawal so you can have their identity.
