Fallen Angels....8.5/10


Follows two storylines that intersect.
That of the assassin and his partner and that of the ex-convict.

This movie is well known as a classic so there isn't much to say that hasn't been said already...but I'll emphasize how I love the style...the wide angle shots and the character focus...

Adds to the nighttime feeling of loneliness


Movies like these are not for everyone so it's understandable that some people won't like it.

I'll download next:

This was a very hard choice tbh...as they are all great movies

Lol, where that film made triple in the US??
This weekend debut is pegged around $11mn. And it's budget is $15mn.

Even when their record breaking anime films like Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and Demon Slayer were released in theatres. We waited for up to 6 months sef iirc to get those films. Suzume was about 4 months if I remember.

This is their number one Kaiju film in a long while and it rave reviews. They might want to push it more. I hope to see it December ending sha.
But won't be surprised if it's till early next year.
