If in 1967, the rest of Nigerians (Christian middle-belt and south-south/Niger-delta) had a crystal ball and they could have foreseen what their children, environment and resources would face at the hands of those who claim to have had ‘liberated and kept Nigeria one’, i still wonder if they would have joined in to fight Biafra or asked to secede with them!

Unfortunately, in war these mistskes happen. In military terms its called collateral damage.

They are not lying. The army has what is called the Army Aviation Corps. It is like a mini airforce within the army and it is totally separate from the actual airforce. The army aviation corps were responsible.

They have admitted their wrong, it shouldn't give room for condemnations , what is important is that they compensate those involved and go for further training ... Usually they are guidelines and protocols to follow before dropping a bomb from a Drone ... especially it's very important to check there won't be civilian casualties ... even if it's one child in the mist of 200 terrorist, you are not allowed to drop the bomb and usually you have different officers checking the scenarios before giving the all clear to fire ... But I suspect it was in the Night and the terrorist must have played on their intelligence.
