The problem with Many of you is that you are small minded, think like simpletons and cannot see the big picture. The purpose of the conference is to source for funds for climate related and green energy projects.. When you hear for example that one village is being electrified with solar, or solar water pumps or solar boreholes, farming irrigation, flood abatement programs, this is often where the money comes from. If you are not there to present your green energy plans, you will not be a beneficiary. Most of the money is free money, not loans.

UAE alone is handing out $4b to Africa at this conference. Is it a country that isn’t there they will give the money to? Is it a ministry that isn’t there they will give the money to? US is also allocating $3b to Africa, other countries are making pledges. If you are not there you cannot benefit.

Yes there are people out there for a jamboree but there will be more funds coming to Nigeria than the total bill for the entire Nigerian delegation public and private.

The least Nigeria can expect out of what UAE alone is allocating to Africa is $300m…likely a lot more. The total cost assuming all 1400 participants are government sponsored (not so) and all actually attended (again not so) @$15k a head is $20m

You are the same people that if you hear another country received funding from COP will come here shouting why was Nigeria not there when they were sharing free money we could have used to recharge dry lakes, control flooding, provide irrigation for farmers, electrify villages, convert vehicles to CNG etc?
You have said well...if 300m dollars would be given to nigeria abeg how much was spent to go there ??let's see

The minister said clearly in the writeup above that the once sponsored by FG is 422.
This does not mean that the total people from Nigeria is 422. Infact he told us there were state government sponsored, private sector and volunteers who also self sponsored themselves.
OGA fake news

Nigeria to the wild.
Tribalism & divisive politics has clogged our eyes
We hail People who corruptly enrich themselves at the expense of the state.
Our economy has been nose diving and our currency remains one of the worst performing currencies in Africa. Please let us all take a moment and reflect. We need to hold our leaders accountable.

What are all the ministers going there to do? Still a large number, if at all this is even true. I am sure the ministers will still take their own retinue of aides. Those aides will be sponsored by the ministry. Does the FG think the money to sponsor those aides will come from the ministers' pockets?

Please can you also go after those that throw insults at tribe. Because you people calling igbos idiots and threatening to chase them out of Lagos or deal with them in the next elections and I have never seen you ban them or flag them despite sometimes your attention is brought to it. I believe if you are fair it will lead to more people engaging in this platform
