She advised parents not to buy phones for under-age children. Madam most parents cant even dare to buy the phones we have these days due to the cost most youths either 1. Buy the phones themselves by saving up on pocket money sent to them 2. their boy friends and sugar daddies get them the phone on their birthdays or during valentine Truth is you guys are so useless and lazy to think and do your jobs that you depend on people to do the work for you. You actually serve no purpose in drug control and should be replaced with a more credible organisation capable of carrying out emperical research and providing concrete recommendations to our problems. 1 Like |

Question is ,how do these drugs enter into Nigeria,it's easier to go after the kingpins, the effort on catching the end users is a waste of our resources, these consignments come into the country in large boulders, that is where they should start from, no meaningful arrest and prosecution has been made ,the kingpins are feeding fat while the end users are being punished |

Antoeni: Abuja has a lot of hotspots where hard drugs are openly dealt. I was in Ibadan for work a few years ago and the drugs problem has assumed nightmare proportions already. Unemployment has created the loopholes being filled by escapist enterprise. We will need to invest in rehab centres. I have seen big babes driving recent cars driving into Zone 4, Abuja to do sharp purchases near where my kids used to school. Guys routinely fall unconscious after doing codeine / tramadol on the streets near their school to the extent that I had to change their school. It's already an epidemic. Security guards, mechanics' apprentices, young school children, okada riders, street urchins, plus some misguided working class and highbrow folks, are already addicted to different grades of hard drugs. It will be a difficult road back from the brink. 1 Like 2 Shares |

OlawaleBammie: Simple reading would have prevented this question. They connect online and deliver through transportation: land unanimously. Nobody gets to see or know the other. They put bus drivers who deliver goods at risk. |

The way Nigerian youths consume drugs this days is alarming, every small pharmacy or chemist shop today in Nigeria is a verified drug dealer spot, these pathetic quack nurses of pharmacist openly sell drugs like tramadol, codeine etc to youths and openly brag that that's how they make their money, the moral decadence in our society is stinking,we the citizens have failed hugely in our role to act as agents of good, later on Fridays and sundays it is these same people's that will troop to mosques and churches to serve their various GOD'S. |
