Bliss52:Watin concern fish with raincoat? Watin concern Nigeria with global warming? How much green house gasses is Nigeria contributing to global warming? The countries contributing the most to global warming are China, USA, Brazil, Europe and india? But Nigeria with hardly any industries is the country carrying global warning for head like gala. USA that should be at the forefront of climate change due to their contribution to green house gasses are staying away. Even though China is promoting climate activism for political purposes, they still generate most of their electricity from coal apart from generating massive amount of pollution in their factories. If na me be president, I go start to use Enugu coal to begin generate electricity. |

Bliss52:No one is arguing whether we are going to be directly affected by the effects of global warming, it a fact that all cities built on the coast will be affected by raising sea levels. The real question is how much is an underdeveloped and under-industrialized country like Nigeria contributing to global warming , and how much impact can our efforts to reduce pollution make? Europe and the US has been pumping green house gasses into the atmosphere for over 200 years, China and the rest of Asia has been pumping green house gasses into the atmosphere for over half a decade. We in sub-saharan Africa have not even started pumping gases into the atmosphere, and the world is asking US not to industrialised or to use expensive means of generating the energy needed for industrialisation because of climate change, while China, the US and Europe are still belching CO2 into the atmosphere. Does it make sense sending 1400 people to attend climate change conference. If 14000 people attend technological conference, I would not mind, if they attend industrial conference, I would be happy, but climate conference? Haha what impact will that make to our immediate needs? |

reddingtonblack:^^^ If there was no offer made to the Toke Makinwas (I'm assuming the report of her being an official delegate is true) of this world then she wouldn't be able to accept (or reject) it. Toke Makinwa owes Nigerians nothing really. Nigerians may disapprove of her actions on some moral grounds but she isn't the one holding public office in trust. The ire of Nigerians should be targeted at those who bear titles like "your excellency" ...and who think the public purse is theirs to use as they please. Nigerians were warned about BAT but as usual, they didn't listen. We can expect more of this mid-November madness to extend well into 2024 and the years beyond. Buckle up! |

Fujiyama:You see that Mentality nobody owes anybody shit that as become a rave, will only do us more harm than good at the end Nation building is all about collective effort and a supposed elite is shouting "nobody owes anybody shit" . Maybe Toke makinwa owes Nigerians nothing in real sense BUt she mustnt be a burden on Nigerians as well. An idol that won't favor me shoud @least leave me the way it met me. Politicians ratio to the populace is like 1: 1m, what we need is revolution that starts with the people (no violence) by reducing drastically how we worship politicians, turn down there money and reject there offers esp. those we know have not done well, these politicians will be rattled and sit up I can discern you are mocking and trying to rubb it in, however i will Buckle up and will advise you do the same cos we are navigating under the same economic if you are immune to "sapa" you aint to "Depression". |

FreeStuffsNG:^^^ ![]() This is a lie and liars go to Hades. If the father's propaganda is unravelling faster than the speed of light, how can the son be spared? If Seyi Tinubu was such a consummate professional he would be managing his so called advertising company and he wouldn't have the time to gatecrash FEC meetings in a desperate bid to peddle influence. Propaganda has its limits. For those who didn't know, this whole family is being exposed and shown up for who they really are, day by day. Buhari's son Yusuf was severely criticized for what was seeing as indolent freeloading when he made headlines for nearly getting himself killed - while practicing how to be a Hell's Angel. Nigerians were furious (and rightly so) that he was given emergency medical attention overseas from the public purse - for an accident entirely of his own making. His supporters tried to put forward his youthfulness as a defence but that didn't fly - he was cursed out and stereotyped as a lazy 'aboki' who was riding on his fathers position to live large. However, apart from that motorbike mishap, the young man largely stayed out of the limelight until his wedding in the twilight of his father's administration. What is Seyi Tinubu's excuse? He is far older than Buhari's son. Seyi Tinubu is a father and has been married for years. He is not an adolescent that requires parental guidance and yet, his signature in the life of his father's administration has been the elevation of nepotism to statecraft. In less than 6 months it has been one scandal after the other - from the illegal and unauthorized use of official aircraft for travel to watch polo tournaments ...to unauthorized attendance at FEC meetings. What next? ![]() FreeStuffsNG:^^^ ![]() With this you are clearly not working for the BAT team. You must be a double agent to write this. |

reddingtonblack:^^^ Don't get this wrong. The toke makinwas of this world will always be there. But Nigerians didn't elect her to do anything for them. The people who really owe Nigerians something are those who are 'bankrolling' toke and her group. It is those people that we should all focus on. I hope it is clear. reddingtonblack:^^^ Again I say, get the facts right. I'm not mocking you or trying to rub anything in. The economy affects me too - I go to the market like everyone else. The only people I have strong words for are those people who (despite all warnings) supported BAT's rise to power - and I don't know if you fall into that category. I haven't checked your posting history. When I say buckle up - its a general call and it includes me too. Nigerians could have avoided all this but we closed our eyes. This is the result. |

Fujiyama:There is something called " Review" .. for years even before i was born, Nigerians have being cursing and criticizing the politicians bUt what as changed You are chanting the focus should be in the Politician, have you ask yourself when was the "phocus" off the politicians. We can't keep doing the same thing and keep expecting the same result, cursing, reactions and criticising day in day out seem not to be working or what other evidence do we need With the way politics is setup in Nigeria, trust me even if we have voted for Atiku or Peter Obi it would have being business as usual cos history as proven all politicians are the same. Check all the countries that are doing fine, you will find there citizens making intentional efforts and there priority is national interest BUT in Nigeria we celebrate and worship politicians tew much, its shameful. Now imagine a friend that is always running to you for urgent 2k & help wants to correct you or sensitize you is it not funny |
