Updates on the Al-Aqsa Flood operation presented in this episode of Samri Channel.

The episode contains an announcement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israeli forces are besieging the home of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.

Netanyahu said in a statement: “I have two things I want to inform you of: I said that our forces can reach anywhere in the Gaza Strip, and they are now besieging the house of Yahya Al-Sinwar.”

He stressed that "his home is not his fortress and he can escape, but this is only a matter of time until we arrest him."
Netanyahu added: “Secondly, we are exerting pressure so that the Red Cross can visit our abductees.”

The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, sent a message to the UN Security Council regarding the situation in Gaza in accordance with Article 99 of the United Nations Charter regarding threats to international peace. Guterres said in the letter that the situation in Gaza may threaten international peace and security, and that the international community has a responsibility to use its influence to end the crisis. The Secretary-General of the United Nations urged Council members to put pressure to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe, and called for a humanitarian ceasefire to be declared in Gaza.

In another context, Article 99 of the United Nations Charter ignites Israel’s anger, as Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen considered the mandate of UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres a “threat to world peace” after he sent a letter to the Security Council about Gaza to activate Article 99 of the organization’s Charter.

He pointed out that "Guterres' request to activate Article 99 and call for a ceasefire in Gaza constitutes support for the terrorist organization Hamas and an endorsement of the killing of the elderly, the kidnapping of children, and the rape of women."

He said: “Whoever supports world peace must support the liberation of Gaza from Hamas,” as Cohen put it.
Meanwhile, the Israeli newspaper Maariv published an article by Stephen Cook to analyze how Israel manages Gaza and whether Israel will succeed in occupying the Strip. Kuhn confirmed that Israel will reoccupy the Gaza Strip.
