If your definition of a native doctor is limited to just someone who have good knowledge of local herbs and can mix them for people to heal their illnesses, then you are correct.

However my definition transcends that definition because native doctors in our society have up their game and we have many people in our community that also have good knowledge of herbs and their prescriptions also works but we do not necessarily call them native doctors.

A native doctor can operate in any location
A Priest is restricted to a shrine

A native doctor can call on many gods/power
A Priest is dedicated to one deity.
