Nigeria was not forced to join OPEC, we can't just tell them to Bleep off. We are still negotiating with OPEC on the issue though and Nigeria is not the only country that will reduce oil production.

But I don't see Nigeria going below 1.7mbpd next year

then we leave the organization. Nigeria is a developing country which needs as much funds as it can get. We shouldn't allow gulf countries to drag us into their political wars. There is a reason why OPEC+ exists
