I live in Africa and Europe. I sometimes visit the US. Since childhood I have made it a most to abreast myself with the happenings in Nigeria and juxtapose same with happenings in the West. And I find something quite different... explained in a few words: THE BUCK ENDS ON MY TABLE! Yes, every policy is assume to come from or approved by the leader of a country, be you president or prime minister. They usually do not fail to tell this open secret to their cabinet. This is a replay of what usually go on in high level meetings in the oval office. Mr. president I am your Special adviser for Homeland Security, you have to listen to me and approve this measure. Yes Mr. Ed Marshal, I am the president, am accountable to the American people. This will not work. We have an election coming.. our party needs the votes of these people you want these measures on. I don't approve this, except you on with something else. Ok. Mr. president, the arm Forces will use a different measure..(meaning the secret service would be pass the president). There you go Marshal, the buck ENDS on my table! This is a sane country where idiots, certificate forgers, coupists and even worse are never allowed near the corridors of powers. Neither are quota system employees or faith affiliated demagogues, allowed into sensitive positions. And the moment a policy fails, the leader, president or prime minister takes full responsibility. But in Nigeria, where one Mr. Tinubu of the fame Chicago drug deals and csu certificate scandals, reigns, him and his appointees, lacking what makes a leader, would prefer to tackle employees rather than go after the head. This is how shallow Africa, most especially, Nigeria has become. In 2015, this is Asiwaju packaged Buhari as a sane man fit for leading Nigeria. Well, tell that to those tens of thousands whose lives were lost, Yorubas, Igbos , fulanis, Hausas etc. In all you do as a Nigerian, do not forget the full meaning of BAT (Buhari and Tinubu). Buhari has do his eight years, ruining lives and the economy, Mr. Asiwaju just started his four years, if he survive our prayers, check how much positive impact he made. Like we warned in 2015, we have done our bit . This foolish system works for the crooks, and not for the people. It won't make Patriots work or refuse service. Even in the military, there's a clause for military men to refuse Orders that targets civilians, or cause genocide, mass killings etc. Temporary, you might be Court Marshal, but in the long run, the dictator ls would end up in jail, while you become hero and get compensated.
