I agree with you. He obviously does not live in that compound, so how did he come to rescue her when she was about to commit suicide?

Abi they lured him and offed him. She just gave that story to save her hubby thinking as a woman the law will be lenient on her

The story no clear. How did the deceased come into the house to prevent suicide? Who's he to them? Where was the husband when she was attempting suicide?

Is she seeing the guy she killed while married to this man? Was he her boyfriend before she got married to this man? Did she tell the guy she'd kill herself if he doesn't come to rescue her from her current marriage, she'd kill herself and not doing that, she wanted to make her threat real, and the guy trying to stop her, she offed him. "If I can't have you, no one will have" kind of situation.
