Good evening to u all

Dear Nairalanders

I'm reaching out to you because I need your advice. I'm a student in my final year of university, and I'm suffering from Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I've been dealing with this since I was a child, but I only recently learned that this was the right term/terminology for it.

When I was young, I didn't think it was a serious problem, but as I got older, I realized that this was more serious than I thought, and it was becoming a real problem for me.

I've tried to get help from the university counseling center, but I couldn't get an appointment with the counselor. I'm frustrated, and I don't know what to do. Can you help me figure out a way to control my compulsions? I feel like I'm not in control of my own life.
