We definitely have a long way to go because our politics is now strictly ethnic based. SE voted Obi because he's Igbo and a christian, SW and the Northerners also use similar ethnic and religious sentiments.

None of the candidate in the last election was good but somehow we found a way to create a Messiah out of them out tribal and religious "we against them" sentiments. Same will play out in 2027 and many election cycles to come.
