South South comprise of 6 States EDO Edo have these tribes: Bini, Esan, Afenmai, Ijaw, Owan DELTA Delta have these tribes: Urhobo, Anioma, Ijaw, Isoko, Itsekiri. BAYELSA: Bayelsa is an homogeneous Ijaw State don't be deceived. What we have is different dialects. RIVERS: Half of Rivers State is Ijaw with 11 and half LGAs, while the rest share the remaining 11 and half. Ogoni 4 LGAs, Ikwerre 3 and half and the rest upland take the remaining 4. AKWA-IBOM AKWA-IBOM have these tribes, Ibibio, Annang, Ijaw (Obolo) Oron, Eket of which even Oron is saying they are Ijaws from Obolo group. Their elders came and visit us. CROSS RIVER Cross River have the highest numbers of tribes in South South over 17. They are Efik, Ekoi, Iyalla, Boki, Ogoja etc. In conclusion, Ijaw is by far the largest tribe in South South hence Ijaw control it. Where Ijaw occupy in Niger Delta is bigger than South East Nigeria. Ijaws were unjustly balkanized into six States of Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa Ibom States when we are fully together and not even scattered by God. @General Ditari. 1 Like 1 Share |

Anioma a sub group When joined with etche,ndoki, omuma and other Igbo groups in South South Is far bigger than the ijaws Ijaws are minority everywhere in SS except in Bayesla But igbos are majority in rivers state and delta state 11 Likes |

Mr Ebi Leave KaiKai so that KaiKai will leave you alone. Igbos alone in those states you listed are more than all Ijaw combined even with the ones yet to be given birth to in next 200 years. Even if you create threads from Now till the KaiKai clears from your eyes in Nigeria and outside Nigeria everyone will always Know the 3 major tribes Its in the constitution and No amount of propaganda will change that 3 Likes |

Even in churches/mosques, what's the number of Ijaw people present there? If not for GEJ that became president, who knows about the tribe in the national political environment? I doubt if you are really Ijaw, why disturbing the cyberspace with unnecessary threads. With all the money in Bayelsa, how has it been able to meet up with other oil rich regions in the world? Igbos are one of the greatest tribes in the world, if not for archaic political practice in the country that thrives in putting people/regions down, the Igbo nation will be in same category as Singapore etc. 1 Like |
