Hello good people,

Please help me with how to go about a nursing course in Nigeria. My wife is interested in the profession but do not know how to go about it. I googled and saw it that it requires a minimum of 3 years to complete. Note that we want to use it to travel to a good country outside Nigeria after the completion.

Guys please help us with a step to step guide on how to go about it bikonu.

What nursing course are you talking about? Do you mean the 3-year RN programme that is done at schools/colleges of nursing in teaching hospitals?

This forum have been quite for some days.. so I applied for my visa on the 20th December (no priority), I received a mail this morning from TLS that a decision have been made. 2hrs later, another mail that my travel document is ready for collection (I optioned for a DHL delivery anyways). My confusion now is that, no mail saying if my visa was granted or not. No BRP mail either. If tension no kill me, na small go remain
Please which of the TLS offices did you apply to.I also did mine at the one in VI on same date but yet to get an email from them

Thank you very much for the response. Which one do you think is fine for us? We wouldn't mind anyone, provided it will be acceptable for application abroad. Please tell us more about it and which one you think is fine.

Good day friends, please I want to know: I have a laboratory and all my 5years work experience was done in my lab here in Nigeria. Will I stand any chance of getting employed to work in UK with this kind of self employment as my job experience?

Please help 🙏 me.

I didn't do mine in Nigeria. Anyways if you didn't get any mail, try to check your spam mail cause notifications are automated. Except you drop a wrong email. All the best

Sorry about that. I'm aware of someone whose employer applied for a Defined CoS in the second week of Dec & they received it yesterday - roughly 3 weeks of processing. This whole CoS thing is dependent on your employer amongst other factors.

This feels aching. The manager keeps telling me it's the Home office. The coy is A rated, on the HO liesence list, registered with CQC. 🥺🥺

I understand the anxiety & frustration with waiting endlessly, but just know that it'll surely come through. There's nothing you can do than just keep hoping, and try to occupy your mind.

I am also in thia shoes and I can tell you the waiting is realling frustrating and tiring. Just as he advised, kindly occupy your mind and keep praying and hoping it comes out.

If i may ask pls, do you think it is advisable to go ahead with visa application if cos comes out on Jan ending or 1st week of Feb considering the new ukvi policy that is expected to commence by spring.

Once you have your CoS & other required docs, you can proceed to visa application. If you have the ability to, pls apply for your dependants before the new rules take effect by spring.

Good afternoon everyone, please is it possible to apply twice on the same COS(certificate of sponsorship), my cousin applied and was denied due to 3.5 score in Listening on her IELTS. She has re-written the exam and passed all aspect above 4.0, can she still re-apply with the same COS after a rejection?

Well according to the gov website, you should request another CoS because the one that cousin used to apply has been used (whether it’s a successful application or not)

But I remember someone arguing here that they have reused a CoS before, I don’t know how true that is.

Note: I’m already in the uk and marriage certificate wasn’t in the required documents as I’m not travelling with her or planning to depend on her either.
Thanks

Can I submit the docs I have now, pay the visa+healtcare surcharge fees, and then upload the remaining docs later before the biometrics appointment?

I'm asking as I still need two documents (TB test and ECCTIS degree assessment), but I already have CoS and others.

The healthcare surcharge will increase from £624 to £1035 on Jan 16.
