Great movie; a must watch..

However, she shouldn't have given it that title, especially when the movie didn't in anyway portray Christ..

I really like how Funke always mix all tribes in her movies, she is a wise woman with vision. Although, most times, it's usually those in the trenches that are being deceived or used as tools for tribal wars. Even here on nairaland, the poor and the struggling middle class are always at each other's throats on this cheesy

In all, congratulations to Akin Funke (she could get an Oscar nomination for this), next deputy governor, Lagos state cool

Meanwhile, take a look at the top cast of the movie. It cuts across the different tribes. Successful people do not have time for TRIBALISM. It's for the poor fuuls, some of whom are making noise already below.

Let me take time to congratulate this maestro and undisputed queen of the Nigerian Cinema,the legendary Ms Funke Akindele.
The great thing about this feat was the various records it broke.From the opening weekend record of 100 million+ to crossing over the 1 Billion Naira mark is worthy of commendation
I met Ms Funke Akindele about 30 years ago,she started this dance group and she was recruiting people to join the group,she was barely a teenager but from that age she knew want she wanted to become
Over the years,she has stayed true to this craft,The Arts is her first love and she has clearly shown that "abinibi o yato si ability" which translated means a talent is very different from working the gift.
She has shown that when you stay consistent to your dreams,you will sit with Kings.She contested an election in 2023 and lost,she dust herself up and before the End of the same year she came back with a Big Hit
I encourage all young people to learn a lesson from this Amazon,that a talent is never enough,you must do the work and stay consistent
Aim for Excellence and be diligent in all you do,the sky is not even big enough for you

This people enjoy hyping like say tomorrow no dey.
High gross does not equate to high profit. Her real profit might be less than thirty percent of this amount. She must have paid heavily, like heavily for her movie to be shown during this holiday period. Doesn't mean the movies are good.

Don't be deceived, More than 95% of nollywood fans have never been to the cinemas but watch nollywood movies everyday.

All these politicians are trying so hard to stay relevant. I haven't watched the movie, but I already know it won't be worth my time.

Funke is hardworking but she is riding on her social media fame to profit from her movies; and not because she is a terrific film maker.

By the way, I need someone to recommend at least 3 nollywood movies that I can watch on YouTube. I haven't watched a home video in ages and have some data to spare.
