I'm asking to know the distance in km a fairly used car can cover in a year and be considered good.

I'm about paying for a 2008 Toyota corolla. The odometer reads 204,000km.

Assuming every other thing checks good, is the km covered good?

The average based on my calculation is approx 13,600 per annum

Have you gone with a competent mechanic?
Was the car scanned?
Is the engine burning oil?
Is the right oil in the gear? It is selecting fine?
Is the custom duty original?
Is the car electricals okay?
Have you checked under for rust?
Have you check the accident history?
