Truth be told, it is not Buhari or Tinubu that is selling a 30yr old car he probably bought fairly used 700k 10yrs ago for 1.2m naira now

I got my Mazda6 at 1.4million back then and I sold it for the same amount just this January and I am expecting a new car from Lagos this week. The value for this cars changes as the economy is.

Your comment is true but know that our current economy doesn't allow us to reap the benefits of this depreciation, take for instance the smartphone industry, let's use the iPhone 11(all variants of it) as an example, Do u know that it still sells for the the same price with some variants selling higher than the price it initially debuted with? When it released, I think it was in the region of 300 and something thousand(that was in 2019) currently, it still sells at that price or even higher. This doesn't mean I'm in support of the car price listed here though, it seems a little bit steep to me(although I don't know much about the price of cars)
