What Dangote is facing isn't a mere challenge. He's being questioned by the ant-graft agency under a new government for conniving with the ex-CBN governor to defraud Nigeria of huge FX sums, thereby subjecting the entire country into a deep FX crisis. To recover all the USD Emefiele gave to Dangote without following due process, Dangote should increase the stake of the NNPC in his refinery.

In the past, we have seen the EFCC shut down companies during their investigation because there was clear evidence they were involved in fraud. Thank God they now have a sane chairman who has openly criticised that modus operandi.

Besides, how practicable is it for supply to take a whole month when production is supposed to be every blessed day.

If we go by the 650k capacity, the crude supplied will last just 10 days.

What happens to the refinery in the remaining 20 days before the next supply is completed?

I have been thinking about this 6m barrels thing as well. So we will wait for another 6 barrels or supply will continue non stop after this first tranche.

All they're celebrating about is Nigeria is going to hit self sufficiency on energy and also save forex from not having to import it.
Whatever price the refinery sells is entirely up to them and their marketers.
It's that simple.

It's already successful. A lot of stages are involved when a company is starting from scratch. Even after receiving 6million barrel of raw material, production issues will come up and gradually being resolved and get used to. Pricing, logistics, supply issues b4 it finally gets to the cars and homes of nigerians. Dangote refinery is not a small project and it has come to stay for good of Nigerians. Be patient sir.

The only time I will love this is when it sell for a reasonable price and not the same price with others even if it is #100 difference I will still give it a failed one. I have seen dangote products and how expensive they are. Sha be they have been giving excuses about the importation of fuel on price hike, make we dey see how this one go be

Please guys, in fractional distillation of crude oil, is it not Natural gas, PMS that comes first before diesel and others!

Or is there reverse distillation because when you boil water na vapour dey come out first....
