Goodmorning All,

Looking to apply for a UK visa. The UK visa fees and IHS fees online are quoted in dollars/pounds.

For people that have already gone down this route without anyone abroad to assist with a foreign card how were you able to pay? Is payments via naira card acceptable? Or is there other payment methods available that I can use.

Thanks in advance. Apologies if asked previously but not seen.

Sense will not kii you jare......baba go ahead

LOL!

Fortunately, after further research, I found that the new rates won't be enforced till Jan 31, as parliament is debating it today, and it needs 21 days to become enforceable.

Thank God!

Do health care workers have to pay the health surcharge? I read on uk.gov that they are exempted from paying. Pls somebody should clarify me

Can I submit the docs I have now, pay the visa+healtcare surcharge fees, and then upload the remaining docs later before the biometrics appointment?

I'm asking as I still need two documents (TB test and ECCTIS degree assessment), but I already have CoS and others.

The healthcare surcharge will increase from £624 to £1035 on Jan 16.

Congrats. Since you are a researcher start looking at Global Talent Visa. About your salary how high is high. The way u hid the salary from us is same way you should desist from telling people at home home it is quite high. Cos people at home will only hear the amount and believe But not believe how the money goes out. Don't set yourself up in the hands of family and friends. Come to the UK first and understand how it works. Congrats once again

Hi everyone, please if someone submitted a bank statement, printed on the day of visa application, but covering more than 28 days, like up to 2 months statement, is it wrong?

In essence, is it wrong if someone's bank statement is showing a transaction period of up to 2 months, printed & submitted the same day? Thanks.

I am also interested in this response as I considered GTV, but my role is not senior enough. So, I hope to switch to GTV on arrival.

I want to believe you're applying for another visa category and not the Health and Care Worker visa correct me if I'm wrong please because I read that if you're applying for HCA, you don't need Health Surcharge.

Please, does anyone have any idea how to upload TB test after paying visa fee, but before biometrics?

I have all my docs except for TB test which is scheduled for next week tuesday.

But I wanted to pay the fees tomorrow so i can get an early biometrics date.

After paying for visa fees and IHS..U have to proceed to TLS web page before u can book biometrics appointment...after booking thats when u can upload any document after choosing self service

U said u TB test is not ready naa...
Just Book ur biometrics for next week Friday or upper Monday.. if it's sure for u that u will get ur TB test on next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Then once u get ur TB test..go back to TLS web page and upload. All ur document and submit

Hello guys
Can one get a reminder for IHS surcharge I tried to Pay for IHS surcharge but the amount displayed on the screen is not the correct amount I called the customer care and I was told to submit like that a top up link will be sent but I have not received a top up link.

Secondly if a top up link is sent and is not received will a reminder/follow up be sent to the applicant

Thanks so much. You answered my question.
Yes, I already booked the TB test for next tuesday. So, I will just upload it on TLS after.

Thanks!

I think in my field, its easier and I don't think its bad to give it a short even if you are not in a senior position .

Hello anyone,
Pls is 30k too much for senior care worker? Someone said they just denied his visa because home office said the salary is not possible for a senior care worker

it is not much for what you can earn as a senior worker if you work overtime , but on Salary scale for HCW , the salary is way to high. Even NhS band 4 earn 25000 to 28000. So on book the VISA officer might reject the salary
That 30k get keeleg

With the current minimum wage in UK, is only band 5 nurses that can earn it. This the reason why home office is retrieving a lot of licenses.

Omo…why do they hype nursing then? Even Junior project managers earn more than 30k.

Please someone should guide me on how to evaluate my degree online.

I really don't want to write IELTS/SELT.
Re: UK Skilled Worker Visa / Health And Care Worker Visa / Qualified Teacher Route by Fizzymidasquil: 4:08am On Jan 12
Just go to the ECCTIS website. It is linked from the UK govt. website. You submit all the doc ECCTIS asks for, depending on which of their service you choose. I did the first service on the list, something about degree and English language proficiency. The docs I submitted to ECCTIS were my official transcript, my degree certificate, and a letter from my faculty saying the medium of instruction was English. I asked my school for an official transcript and the medium of instruction letter.

After paying (regular/standard service, no fast track) and submitting it to ECCTIS, they sent me the statement within 3 working days.
So, if you have those required docs or can get them fast, then ECCTIS is recommended.

For those who have used the TLS courier service before, I was not asked to fill in the delivery address.

Will I be asked later when my passport is ready for collection, or will they use the address I submitted during my visa application?
