Kimbeast:I'm not arguing whether their league is poor or better, but if their league is indeed poor, it should be reflected in their performance in the UEFA Champions League. However, they managed to qualify against a strong team like Sevilla, while a strong team like Manchester United is left watching the remaining UCL matches from their homes.🤣🤣🤣 |

popizaino:Sincerely speaking, nobody. But I still maintain my stance that we should look beyond coaches to determine the cause of this abysmal performance. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 10:34am On Jan 11, 2024 |
MorataFC:Their league is poor. Sevilla is sitting at No.16 on the Spanish league table, that should tell u that they did not play the "strong Sevilla" u know. PSV conceded 10 goals and only managed to score 8 goals in their champions league group. How else do u want their piss poor league to reflect in their champions league performance? |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by MorataFC: 10:55am On Jan 11, 2024 |
BlueRayDick:Perhaps you dont understand my previous reply to Kimbeast. The four goals conceded to Arsenal could be attributed to a bad day, which can happen to any team. However, if we remove that bad day from the equation and observe their overall performance in the remaining matches, they conceded a total of 6 goals in 5 matches. Comparatively, the defending champions' goal tally stands at 7 goals conceded in 6 matches, while giants like Real Madrid also conceded 7 goals in 6 matches. This prompts the question: Is it fair to label Madrid and Manchester City as teams from a poor league too if they can concede 7 goals each in 6 matches while PSV conceded 6 goals in 5 matches? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 11:08am On Jan 11, 2024 |
MorataFC:Did they face the same quality of opposition? The answer is no. If PSV can end up with a -2 GD in a group that has just Arsenal, PSV, Lens and Sevilla what makes u think they won't fair worse in a group that has Real Madrid, Napoli & Union Berlin ? The fact is there for u to see. They have 100% record in their league but they only had one point better than 7th placed RC Lens in the Farmers league. A team that conceded just 6 goals in 16 matches is conceding 10 goals in 6 matches and u are saying it's not due to the competitiveness of the league they play in/quality of their opponents ? really ? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by MorataFC: 11:21am On Jan 11, 2024 |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 11:26am On Jan 11, 2024 |
MorataFC:Lol. Na where u understand English reach be that? When comma dey sentence e no mean anyting to u ? If I had put Sevilla ahead of Arsenal in that sentence u will jump the Arsenal and highlight the Sevilla alone ? |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by MorataFC: 11:52am On Jan 11, 2024 |
BlueRayDick:English is not my native language, but it seems that you are the one who needs an English tutorial more than I do. The word 'just' in your previous post implies that all the teams mentioned are just ordinary teams. However, I specifically chose Arsenal for a reason that is widely known to everyone. 🤣🤣🤣 Bye |

MorataFC:Interesting that you reeled out PSV stats in 5 matches (removing the match they conceded highest) but when it comes to Madrid and City, it's the complete 6 matches of the group stage ![]() |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by BlueRayDick: 11:59am On Jan 11, 2024 |
MorataFC:Well, In English Language there's contextual meaning to words. A group that has Arsenal, Lens and Sevilla is not the same as a group that has Madrid , Napoli and Union Berlin. U know it and u know ur argument in favor of PSV not playing in a piss poor league lacks merit. Anything else u are saying na u know . |

I don't use emotions when it comes to football and not when it's about Chelsea, the club i love with all my heart, the best club in the world. Pochettino is a huge disappointment, and i pray a rival club should appoint him. I already have someone in mind to replace him, but i no plenty mention na y i no wan talk am. |

Kimbeast:Its typical of English players, when you need them most they faltered. Making them your core player in a team is asking for too much. Palmer is good though, we should bin Sterling and sign a striker. |
| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by hensben(m): 2:07pm On Jan 11, 2024 |
airmark:I agree. Sterling need to be sold, he kill attack, mostly play for himself and above all can’t shoot from easy position. Sign Osimhen or any quality striker, sell Sterling in the summer transfer window. |

| Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by popizaino(m): 3:17pm On Jan 11, 2024 |
MorataFC:The playing pattern of any team is a direct reflection of that team's coach idea. We cannot absolve Pochettino of any blame here, even though we have some bastard players who contribute to this our poor results, the bulk of the blame stops on Pochettino's table. Pochettino should get the Bleep out of this great club. |

I think the mess at Chelsea goes beyond Poch, even though he is not entirely blameless with his questionable tinkering. There is no guarantee that changing the manager now will make things better. The way I see it, the environment at Chelsea is the biggest problem. From the guys at the executive level to the players on the pitch, that club is soaked in tension. Tension, not pressure. You can almost smell it. There is so much fear and doubt at Chelsea. Players second-guessing themselves, losing composure when it matters the most. You can't get anything done under such conditions. Things are made worse by the fact this is a young squad, ill-equipped to do deal with the situation. If it was Chelsea of old with all their veterans, they would grind their way of this storm but not these ones. Boehly's faith in youth is misguided. You can't win anything at the highest level with just kids. Player recruitment has to be better. Get in those experienced quality players in key positions to take the pressure off these youngins. Give Poch whatever he asks for, and if he fails to impress, you can now sack him. This thing no hard nau. |

Can we just tempt Villa with a bid for Douglas Luiz? I look at our Central midfield options and I’m gutted at what we have at our disposal. A crocked one, a passenger, a soon-to-be out of contract one and of course the poor Ecuadorian who has become a shadow of himself. Luiz is literally the engine behind Villa’s solid performances. Man is dominant. Having such ball playing, imposing figure in our midfield will definitely get some weight off Caicedo’s feet while giving Enzo the freedom to take his showboating to another level. I’m sure Gallagher will be sold and I can’t even trust Lavia to stay fit. We’ll be literally left with Caicedo and Enzo as the only two available CM options in a matter of months. Ugochukwu is a goat. |
