BENUE STATE GOVT THROUGH THE SSA’S OFFICE NULLIFIES BSUAA INTERIM COMMITTEE INAUGURATED ON JANUARY 11, 2024

Friday, January 12, 2024

The Benue State Government through the office of the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Youth Mobilization and Empowerment nullifies the purported interim committee of the Benue State University Alumni Association (BSUAA) inaugurated by the Prof. Charity Angya-led Board of Trustees (BOT) on January 11, 2024.

This nullification follows briefings received from BSUAAITES on the illegality of the committee, that Prof. Charity Angya is not an Alumna of BSU, the reason she was not inaugurated as BOT Chairman hence she was not supposed to head the Board and to inaugurate the committee in contravention of BSUAA constitution.

The Government is deliberating on the issues raised by BSUAAITES and will constitute an interim committee of the association when the security of BSUAA is guaranteed.

Hon. Mkeenem Moses, FIMC, CMC
SSA to the Governor of Benue State on Youth Mobilization & Empowerment.

Why do we love power so much.

You are not an alumna of an institution yet you want to be the BOT chairperson.
