More videos are emerging from the explosion that occurred in Bodija, Ibadan, last night. Reports indicate multiple houses collapsed, creating a significant hole measuring approximately 6 feet in depth, 40 feet in width, and 40 feet in length during the Ibadan explosion.

There is a concern that an entire house may have completely sunk into the ground...

On Tuesday, no fewer than 10 individuals were feared dead, with 15 others hospitalized at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State, due to the explosion at Adeyi Avenue, Bodija Estate. This incident affected various areas, including a section of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Oyo State House of Assembly, the residence of the former Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ige, along with buildings at Ologuneru, Apete, New Garage, Bashorun, Akobo, Sango, and Eleyele.

Around 8 pm, the ancient city experienced significant panic due to the explosion, the cause of which could not be confirmed on Tuesday night.


However, a document discovered at the incident location indicates that miners were occupying the house, with ongoing court cases against them in a different location.

The scary part is where the guys in the video discovered a whole house has sunk completely as a result of the explosion; that is just too scary. The people standing there in this video seem helpless, with no excavator; I pray that the people inside survive.

So a blast that affected buildings and properties miles away somehow didn't affect a supposed document at the site of the blast??

It isn't possible. The blast site is the hole you are looking at and strangely enough the people have court documents on the mining site? And somehow the court document is found just lying around on the site

It was a big blast. Oh my God, May Almighty rest the souls of the people that died.

Useless country...i was watching arise tv few muinites ago where former lagos CP now SA to oyo state governor on security said that when the oyo state government challenged the miners,the foreigners came out with approval from the FG.As he was trying to make a point of that,the show was interupted with an advert and when they came back that important point was ignored for another discussion.im very sure that he was cautioned.
It will take so many more lives before security can be removed from the exclisive legistlative list in this country.
