By Daniel Edu An individual who recently returned from the United Kingdom was identified as one of the victims of the explosion in Ibadan on Tuesday night. The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, confirmed the death of two people and injuries to 77 individuals due to the incident. Eyewitnesses, including Ayode Jajaye, a resident of the Housing Estate at Adeyi Avenue, Bodija, revealed that the UK returnee was the son of one of the landlords in the area. Jajaye called on the government to investigate the incident, expressing concern about the casualties and damages. Governor Makinde attributed the explosion to illegal mining, and investigations are ongoing.

I don't know what caused the explosion but it similar to the one that happened in Lagos about 3 years ago |
