Most Nigerians are pretending to be unpatriotic on social media concerning our team in this AFCON but deep within their conscience, they desire naija to win and even lift the trophy regardless.
How do you pretend to be unpatriotic? It's either you are or you are not. Being patriotic has nothing to do with having or not having the people you like in power.

China football has never been the same since the COVID-19 pandemic. Perhaps it was only afcon that was supposed to commence during the period

Must Africa be backward in everything?
Europe did the same thing! Euro 2020 was played in 2021 due to Coronavirus outbreak

It has nothing to do with Africa. COVID 19 caused it. 2021 was played in 2022.

"Mourinho recommended gaffer". reeks lacck of respect.

Plus the last time we won the nations cup no one gave us a chance in the quarter finals against Ivory coast with Yaya tou're and the mighty drogba.

So yes we can beat them and even easy if you ask me. We have big game player that can step up at anytime and also the last game we did not play badly we creat lot of chance just was not able to put it away. Not the same thing as playing badly.

Bro don't mix up been realistic and been optimistic. Optimistically, every Nigerian want the team to succeed, but reality check we have been getting overtime doesn't make us have huge belief in their abilities. That is just the reality.

Timoleon:
This edition of the tournament was initially planned to be the third since 2019 to take place during the Northern Hemisphere's summer, in order to reduce scheduling conflicts with European club teams and competitions, however it was postponed by CAF to 13 January – 11 February 2024 on 3 July 2022 due to the adverse summer weather concerns in Ivory Coast, whilst retaining the edition's original name for sponsorship purposes. This followed the 2021 edition in Cameroon also being moved to the Northern Hemisphere's winter season for similar reasons.
Thanks for the explanations.

We are not going to win this nations cup.

Football in Nigeria is poorly organised, and we don't have a good enough coach. It also needs money and improved training of young players, and less corruption, and an end to civil servants running the show.

Dude, Covid-19 Pandemic disrupted many things leading to tournament postponements.

The 2020 UEFA European Football Championship was played in summer of 2021. The one Italy won against England.

That's why the next one is summer this year in Germany. Every 4 years.

Remember when Zambia won Afcon in 2012, they only held it for 1 year as 9ja won it in 2013. 2014 Afcon was brought forward to 2013 to avoid clashing with 2014 World Cup in Brazil that Germany won. Even though exactly that hosting year clash happened in Afcon 1994 that 9ja won. It was acceptable back then.

These scheduling abnormalities happen for various reasons.

But seriously, this Peseiro guy appears to me like a palmwine tapper. He doesn't know what he is doing at all.I won't be surprised if we get beaten by CIV.Super Eagles are not playing like they want to win anything.I wish them all the best anyways.

You are 100% correct. We don't just want disappointment that is why we are lowering our expectations so that when the obvious happens, we move without hrt break

I'll take Mali over Morocco.

Our coach is a con man.

Only player in super eagles is OSIMHEN.

who is the big game player?? If you are referring to victor, then you are just clown. Also, the fact that you believe we played well in the last game further buttresses my assertion that you are a clown. You and all those who support him can book a flight for that waste of striker position back to Napoli...rubbish!!

Reality is we must pray and hope we win because we are not good enough. If the favourite, Ivory coast win I know we will still qualify for the next round.
We rarely lose against underated teams in AFCON group stage unlike Ghana and Tunisia who normally get shocks and upsets from them. Only to give a hell of a fight when they face us. angry
My brother, there is also this element luck in football. The better team doesn't win all the time

You can never understand ! You self hating piece of shit.

If you had functioning brains and is in touch with reality.
You would know that both afc 2023 and afcon 2023 are being played in 2024.

And for your information both events were postponed due adverse weather conditions.
It is important that the players play under good conditions , except you want them to die of heatstroke.

Always so quick to open mouth and say terrible things about the continent, when disasters and bad things happen in Africa,it's people like you it should take away ,since you are always so persimistic
