Yes it was discontinued in 2015 in the US market majorly and main reason was because they didn’t do well in designs to compete with other brands in the US market…which led to poor sales. So they decided to take their time to pause so as to come out with a total different new look.

As years go buy car brands are meant to step up with designs…which Mercedes/Toyota/BMW/Audi/Honda and co have been able to key into. But in all…these brands still have certain car models that didn’t do really well when it comes to sales globally.

But notwithstanding…these car brands also have major markets where they strive and have their major sales. For the Nissan…America is out of it…but in Asia and Middle East, it’s one of their major brands as it’s perfect for their weather/terrain/roads. I will say they just love it just the way Americans love the JEEPS/Dodge and co.

Nissan had to take their time to put their designs/creativity in check that’s why in 2022 they released a wonderful SUV and Truck design in which personally i prefer the SUV to the Toyota Prado and the Truck to the Toyota Hilux. It’s terms of interior/exterior designs & everything….the 2022 Nissan Xterra and Nissan Frontier truck is just amazing.

Both the Nissan Xterra SUV and Nissan Frontier truck came loaded with amazing interior features you will find in the recent popular car brands SUVs and Trucks. They also said the new editions will hit the US market soon because it’s already making waves in the Middle East and Asian market.

The 2022 upward Nissan Frontier Truck is already selling in the US markets. And several guys even made a review on the truck. You can check YouTube for confirmation. And the truck is simply amazing…far far better than the Toyota hilux and even more rugged and fitted with more options.

What is remaining to hit the US market is the Newly designed Nissan Xterra SUV… which might have even entered…am not too sure except I make more findings.
Cos last time I heard there were still having talks to put it in the US market.

Yes, it was sold with the "Terra" nameplate in Asian countries. Built to take on the Toyota Fortuner and Mitsubishi Pajero Sport
