Over 10 people were kidnapped yesterday, January 18, 2024, in the evening between Ikere Ekiti and Iju, Ondo State. The victims were in two vehicles: a Toyota Corolla and a white Highlander. They were kidnapped and taken into the bush.

What is eru , iwofa, abobaku,

Have you ever heard of any Yoruba claim he was ostracized, isolated and discriminate against because he is from some non existent eru, iwofa and abobaku lineage ?

Eru mean slave in Yoruba and there's no longer slavery or slaves in Yoruba land.

Iwofa mean servant in Yoruba , back in those days people serve others for a period of time to repay debts they or their family couldn't repay and they would become free again when they completed the terms.

Abobaku as long being abolished and it is no longer practice in Yoruba land but even abobaku live as large as the king until the king will die.

Eru mean slave in Yoruba and there's no longer slavery or slaves in Yoruba land.

Iwofa mean servant in Yoruba , back in those days people serve others for a period of time to repay debts they or their family couldn't repay and they would become free again when they completed the terms. So someone could just become an Iwofa and serve the family or someone they owe for a period of time to repay back the debts they owe that person or family.
