This is a story of an Igbo man from Abia State who cleverly wiggled his way out of the hands of his abductors.

According to SoftCuts’ publication, the Igbo man paid N5 millon ransom to kidnappers with fake naira notes.


Reports say the kidnappers prayed for God to judge him after finding out that what they have is fake cash.

A socio-political commentator, @John James reacted to the report saying: “This is worrisome. The security agencies should carry out investigation into this and make sure the Igbo man is safe.”

Meanwhile, bandits in Nigeria granted interviews with the BBC, revealing the reasons behind their acts of terrorism.

These interviews were reportedly granted against the backdrop of the continuous killings and kidnappings across the country.

Two separate videos show the bandits talking with a BBC reporter and also showing him around their hideouts before the interview.

In the video, one of the notorious bandits in Zamfara said he can never be caught by the Nigerian Government, military or the police.

He confessed to losing count of those he kidnapped and Killed recently.

In another video, one of the bandits said he masterminded the kidnapping of 200 schoolgirls because the government sent the military after him.

“The insecurity, kidnapping, terrorism, banditry is all a business. Even the government is benefiting. Everyone is benefiting. The money (millions of naira) we get from kidnapping, we use most of it to buy more weapons, ” the bandit said during the interview.

Two days ago, agroup of terrorists kidnapped a man, Alhaji Sabiu Abdulkadir and his three daughters in their place of residence in Damba quarters.
