We all know land is like oil in Enugu state and there's no state government who hasn't abrogated land to itself since 1999. Centenary City is far from the capital territory and I put it to Enugu state government, there's no plaster plan from the government in that place. This is pure land grab a scheme and wickedness. If people have built and building is incomplete, why not seal off the building and until they pay their fees. Why demolish somebody's sweat and labour because of approval when the building is not a risk to life or substandard? Again looking at the ECTDA law stating "notwithstanding the provisions of any other law..." the originators of that law are bent on usurping even the 1999 constitution to go after people's property. Anyways good for IPOB.....these hypocrites can't even live together let alone forming a country. What's their new country going to look like? ANAMBRA VS IMO, ENUGU VS ANAMBRA VS IMO. ALL THE REST VS ABAKALIKI, WAWA VS NSUKKA. CLOWNS!!!! |

[quote author=Musty112 post=128045657]All is fair now because the demolition is in a particular region[/quote Yeah same thing in my mind. Assuming this demolition happened in the South West, by now all we be hearing is the SW hate ibo, Now that this is happening in the SE no one is talking about hate. We should try not to politicize everything. We have good and bad government in every region. We should all stand up against bad government in all over Nigeria. 1 Like |

These people are really incompetent. I can understand demolishing illegal structures ... but demolishing them all... human side has nothing to do with this ... this is about law and order. If someone set up a structure costing N10K .... and someone else sets up a structure for N10M ... both should be demolished because they are both illegal. What is wrong and illegal is for them to demolish a legal unfinished building because of squatters. Lastly on this matter ... how can you raid a den and almost everyone escape ... none killed? What level of incompetence is this by the security team? ... were there no plans or strategy? |
